Mr. Reilly is an experienced litigator and counselor with over 20 years of experience practicing employment and labor law. As Partner and Head of MCB’s Employment & Labor Practice Group, Mr. Reilly will continue his representation of employers, ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies in a variety of industries, including health care, hospitality, retail and staffing.
Mr. Reilly has extensive experience in all aspects of employment and labor law including: wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, non-compete and non-solicitation litigation, class and collective action lawsuits, and litigation involving discrimination and workplace harassment, among other employment issues. Mr. Reilly represents employers in federal and state courts as well as before administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
Mr. Reilly also counsels clients respecting proactive, practical strategies for legal compliance for the entire spectrum of the employment relationship from initial recruitment and hire to separations from employment.
Mr. Reilly earned his B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1985, and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1988. Prior to joining Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP, Mr. Reilly was a Shareholder at Littler Mendelson, P.C. for nearly a decade.
He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts, as well as, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st and 2nd Circuits, and the Western, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. He is also admitted to practice before the New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts U.S. District Courts.
Mr. Reilly is an accomplished author and his articles have appeared in publications of the American Bar Association, the New York Bar Association and in the New York Law Journal. He is a featured speaker at seminars sponsored by organizations such as the Greater New York American Corporate Counsel Association and the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Reilly received an AV Preeminent Rating™ from Martindale Hubbell.* He has been listed as a "Legal Elite in Class Actions" by Avenue Magazine.
