Ryan M. Donihue joined Martin Clearwater & Bell LLP in 2003 and became Partner in 2009. He focuses his practice on the defense of dentists, podiatrists, physicians, hospitals and laboratories in medical malpractice and other health care issues. He also represents health care professionals in professional disciplinary proceedings. Mr. Donihue has lectured on the defense of medical malpractice actions to health care professionals.
Before joining MCB, Mr. Donihue was an Assistant Corporation Counsel with the New York City Law Department, Office of the Corporation Counsel in the Medical Malpractice Unit.
Mr. Donihue received his B.A. from the University of Puget Sound in 1997 and his J.D. from New York Law School in 2000. He is admitted to practice before the New York and Connecticut State Courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York. Mr. Donihue is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and American Society for Cytotechnology, American Bar Association, National Institute, Trial Lawyers Association and Physician Insurers Association of America.
